Supported by a diverse staff of nurses, technicians, and administrators, your Digestive Wellness team includes two Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners. This medical family is integrated by a shared philosophy that any patient who walks through their doors is to be treated like a family member.

Dr. Jeffrey Fenyves

Dr. Jeffrey FenyvesDr. Jeffrey Fenyves specializes in adult and pediatric gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Dr. Fenyves received his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He graduated from Bowman Gray/Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, and completed his residency and fellowship at West Virginia University and Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. Dr. Fenyves has been in practice in the Tri-Cities region since 1991.


Dr. Stephen Fry

Dr. Stephen FryDr. Stephen Fry, also Board Certified in Gastroenterology, graduated with honors from Ohio State University and received his medical degree from the College of Medicine there. After completing residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, he went on to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. for his Fellowship and Advanced Fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Fry has been in practice in the Tri-Cities region since 1996.


Ashley Anderson, FNP

Ashley AndersonAshley Anderson, Family Nurse Practitioner, received her BS and MS in Nursing at East Tennessee State University. She has extensive professional experience in gastroenterology and hepatology, physical assessment, diagnostic evaluation, intervention and treatment. Additional experience includes her work at Indian Path Medical Center as a medical/surgical nurse and preceptor.


Genesia Irick, FNP

Tricities Gastroenterology

Genesia TrickGenesia Irick Family Nurse Practitioner, received her BSN from ETSU in 2011. She joined the Navy as a Nurse Corps Officer in 2013 and served on Active Duty until 2016, receiving an Honorable Discharge. During her time in the Navy, she initiated coursework toward her MSN from Maryville University, graduating in 2016. Additional experience includes her time as a Med-Surg and Progressive Care nurse at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
